We came to Burlington for some shopping and whale watching and booked Candlewood based on the reviews we read. Despite the initial hesitation due to the 2-star rating, we decided to give it a try and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel staff, especially Chad, was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcomed. The fully equipped kitchen was fantastic, giving us the option to eat in or go to a restaurant. Our room was clean and comfortable, although a second nightstand would have been more convenient. The hotel's newness added to our enjoyable stay and we even decided to extend our visit after the whale watching tour. The convenience of having a small store in the lobby for any last-minute items we needed was a nice touch. If we come back to this area, we will definitely choose Candlewood again. I highly recommend this hotel.

Incredible and unbeatable location, near the pet area. Next to many desired shopping venues like Costco and Starbucks. - Conveniently located close to Fidalgo Island and the cities of Anacortes, Oak Harbor, and Coupeville. - About halfway between Seattle and BC, making it a great base for exploring the area.

It's a quiet hotel in the nice building. Extremely friendly and thoughtful staff by that manager, everything is brand-new. The setting is incredible, just off close to Fidalgo Island, close to many desired shopping venues Costco, Ross, the Outlet Shoppers, Cascade Mall and many restaurants and other stores and the casino, fairly nice area. The place to have dinner a 10-15 minute walk from the venue is Olive Garden. I would be happy to recommend it as I enjoyed this hotel.

We arrived early and the staff accommodated us cheerfully, getting us into our room within minutes. The room was spacious and had all the comforts of home, including a full-size sofa bed and recliner. The whole complex was clean, bright, and festive. The price was affordable, and the location was convenient for exploring Skagit Valley. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. We appreciated the small kitchen and table in our room and the 24-hour check-in flexibility. The hotel had a snack and toiletries area near the lobby, and it was a pet-friendly property.
